Recently I turned on the television which I rarely do these days, as I'm "sick and tired" of the senseless shows that are being aired when I came across an infomercial by a man named Glenn Burkett. What caught my attention was the fact he was using my very own exclamation, he was telling us to "Wake Up!" My curiosity being peaked, I began to listen and watch.

On the screen was a picture of our digestive tract including our liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, etc. As this picture was displayed, he described how it all worked together and if not working properly, we would become ill, and he had developed herbal products to help with it. Okay?

But as I listened it became clear to me he wasn't really talking about that nor was his meaning just about purchasing his products. What he was talking about was the same thing my heroes like Michael Moore, Kevin Trudeau, Jordan Rubin and Brenda Watson, amongst others, do: Pharmaceuticals are killing people and the FDA is being forced to readily admit it. And he said it plainly, if he were to say that his herbal products "cure" (even though his success rate is high for helping reverse conditions) the men with the badges and guns would be at his door trying to "shut him down". This we all know to be true!

I ask you to think about this because it is in our very own back yard. He has stores locally in Fort Myers and in Naples, and there are other local entrepreneurs trying to make a difference as he is. In fact, there's a whole movement, a REVOLUTION, going on. What it comes down to is this. We are supposed to be the land of the free, especially free to be able to prosper in the open business market, but in reality we are controlled. We have been "brainwashed" that for OUR OWN PROTECTION we are to rely on the government's claims of what is "good" for us rather than to use our own judgment and seek alternatives while we "allow" them to continue to pollute us to the point that we DIE before we're meant to! And if we are to speak out or devise our own methods and/or products, we are put through endless governmental red tape and ultimately punished by them for attempting our own self-preservation!

Is this the kind of life we are to live, intended by God? I don't think so. Our bodies are the temple of God, which houses our soul. We are to worship it, not destroy it. And, as stated in the Bible and other Holy books, the only way we are to overcome the Anti-Christ is by honoring ourselves through daily practice of good nutrition, including taking supplements, exercise and meditation (prayer). As when it comes to the time when we are to die, our spirits leaving our bodies to reconnect to God, our bodies are left behind. So, in my opinion, we take our mindset with us determining our next realm, be it heaven or however one believes. Guilt should not play a role.

True freedom is realizing that we are born free and always are free. It is our belief system that keeps us in shackles, as our beliefs exist in our mind. So, if we continue to accept out of fear that it's alright for the men with the badges and guns to come knocking on our doors instead of protesting it, because we're sick and tired of being sick and watching our loved ones die unnecessarily and don't take control of our own destiny, well, we only have ourselves to blame.

I promise you, peacefully take personal responsibility and your life will change. How do you do this when you are constantly bombarded on a daily basis by mass media to CONSUME? Stop, watch, listen, think, respect yourself.
