Be it soaring high in the skies, sitting on a tree branch looking down or building our nest for survival or pecking on the ground searching for our existence, we humans like birds flock together. And, when not together as in Jonathan Livingston's book "Seagull," seeking our curiosity and independence, we eventually seek each other out as for our emotional health we need companionship, validation and commodore. During a recent internet journey, I was fortunate to find a kindred and spirited fellow bird, that not only helped me articulate my perceptions of the world and the universe, but my place in the scheme of things while gaining further understanding of the purpose of my existence and the future of this planet.

For those of you who joined me on my path and have been reading my spiritual insights, we share the same heart. A co-dependent heart that desires change in this world, based on taking peaceful responsibility. To achieve this, we accept reality and don't indulge ourselves in wishful thinking that shackles us in our belief system of a better world tomorrow, rather than having heaven on earth today, now.

In 2012, the Mayan calendar will cease and numerous groups are relating it to the predicted Armageddon, a precedent doom based on current world events. But, for us side liners, we know different as the world was and always will be as mankind is and shall be. Traditionally, Armageddon represents the end, but with all endings there are new beginnings, just as the sun will set, it also rises. In reality, as those who believe in darkness, separateness, and negativity a new dawn is predicted to emerge of synergistic lightness, wholeness and positive outlook of universal brotherhood, love, forgiveness founded in compassion and absence of fear while understanding and claiming, it's already here, just look around.

By looking NOW we avoid the mindset to wait for it to happen. By proactively making it a daily practice, it becomes the now, the present. What am I saying? What I'm saying is heaven is already on earth NOW. It's in your loved ones eyes, your child's grasp in your hand as you walk, it is the birds chirping in the morning, the sound of the waves as they pound the earth, in the insects you despise, it's everywhere around us. Nature, mankind and everything around us is a reflection of God, and by listening and appreciating God, we appreciate ourselves and have peace. Peace on earth after all, is what all of us are hoping for, right? Well, when we start with ourselves it will naturally overflow to our immediate surroundings, then to the world.

But, we must first concentrate on what is in and out of our immediate control. REALITY WAKE UP CALL 101: We have a 2,000 page healthcare reform that has been enacted that no one really seems to know what it's about. We are allowing our government to pass laws without our say, and if we do not "buy" into the system we will be punished, fined… This is living in hell, folks! Our first step toward their Armageddon of doom, Living in heaven or hell, is just what we make it.

If we continue to focus on and wait for the illusionary Armageddon of doom, we are no less stuck in the fearful mindset of giving our power away. AGAIN. Like my feathered friends say, "Armageddon is nothing short of another governmental scare of when we were told about the computer crashes at the turn of the century. It didn't happen did it? This time religion is being used." There will always be fanatics who take these fears into their own hands and terrorize, but they are few as the movement, the real revolution that I have been writing about in my other Spiritual Insights is going on, stronger than ever. I promise you it is happening and it's happening to you every time you wish things would change for the better, even with the mundane. We have no more effect on the world as we have the affect in our own backyard. We have everything now at our disposal for heaven on earth except for the mindset that we are "free" to take control of it.

I continually meet like-minded people who share this same belief system and I recently crossed the path of a wonderful organization on the other coast. During my exploration of their site, I came across more. So, as we get closer to our hyped up doom and gloom pushed by the media, I want you to remember that before we are man, woman, black, white, Indian, etc., we are human beings which means we are one. One species, the children of God, a God comprised of energy, light, white light reflective of all colors, all things. We are not separate as we are being led to believe by those controlling us through our fear. Specifically, through our fear of poverty, hunger, sickness, death, ostracism and loneliness that hinders our freedoms.

How, do we handle our fear and change our lives? By peacefully taking personal responsibility. How do we do this when we are constantly bombarded on a daily basis by mass media to CONSUME? Stop, watch, listen, think, and respect our self. Respect our self… By honoring our self through daily practice of good nutrition, including taking supplements, exercise and meditation (prayer). Most importantly, by harboring good, positive thoughts. We can control only what we can control. Life is ever changing, and change is life. The planet is responding accordingly. We are responding accordingly right down to the cellular level.

How do we accomplish peace when inflation and job loss is making it literally impossible? Stop, watch, listen, think…the answers will come and you will be empowered. A simple and inexpensive solution is to boycott our oppressors. Just stop. Go to the store and purchase seeds and grow our own food, even in a pot inside your home if you have to. This way, we are not inter-dependent by giving our power away while the fear grows inside of us thinking there's no light at the end of the dark tunnel. THERE'S ALWAYS A WAY OUT and we don't have to be doing it alone!

Look for other birds of the same feather. Car pool, give your things to others who need them and shop at second hand stores, purchase your food together and split the bill. There's always a way to survive if we want to, just look at the homeless. Use them as your guide and determination. One of the biggest detriments to our character is false pride. Even the Jones' jump on the bandwagon when it comes to survival. Keep it simple and the more we simplify, the more we recognize we didn't need half the stuff anyway except to be filling some emotional need through distraction.

So, when we go to church or when we turn on the TV and find ourselves getting "sucked in" and hear all the negativity and our fear increases tempting us to escape by consuming… Remind yourself, "this isn't reality…it's a distraction." Then, take a deep, relaxing breath because you do know otherwise. Until the men with the guns and badges come knocking on our doors, we still have a voice and our independence and possess self-control. Let's all pray it remains that way. Again, birds of the same feather flock together and if it's a radical revolution our country will befall… then that will be the true Armageddon as it will be achieved through our proactive peaceful actions. We don't need violence or to fear God nor the devil, its mankind, and I've suggested this before. Boycott!!! Stop buying into the system we complain is oppressing us. Stop supporting our oppressors as if we are giving them permission to harm us. Free ourselves from the emotional conditioning of helplessness.

What is Armageddon? It's not what we've been conditioned to believe. Our current increase of natural disasters and global warming, etc, is nothing short of nature acting in her accordance with the times. Mankind's greed for natural resources is what underlies the world's condition and ALL wars which has poisoned her almost to her death, but with the green grassroots movement, she will survive as if she doesn't we won't as all this man made fear is in vain. But, don't fret and hold onto the ancient memory, mankind has always been and always will be and the Aquarian Golden Age is soon upon us where peace, prosperity - our health will be the victory. This I prophesize: it will be achieved by peacefully taking personal responsibility. Because, if it is done through the predicted mainstream violence, we will have nothing left except to pick up the pieces while knowing, again, history is repeating itself. Armageddon is nothing short of the continuing peaceful, positive changes engineered by us, birds of the same feather, that is happening in the world - which scares the hell out of them!

God Bless!!!
